This is Sitka from Sitka Home Art Gallery. Sitka is 62 years old and is an artist that specializes in fine art and textile designs. The neighborhood is one of his main sources of inspiration for his art. He enjoys going to parks and painting what he sees. His upcoming project is writing a book about being an artist in Back Bay. “When I was walking on Boylston street, I felt like I went into a time hole–on the left side are the historical buildings, while the right side are the skyscrapers. The whole community is a representation of a combination of modern and classic,” said Steve Wang, a Berklee student who walked on the road.
